Nanostructured Magnetoelectrics & Multiferroics
The symposium will cover ceramics, films, and nanostructures of ferroelectrics, piezoelectric, piezomagnetic, magnetostrictive as well as magnetoelectric and multiferroic single phase and composite materials. Recent developments on synthesis, characterization and theoretical modeling of these materials as well as their behaviour at the nanoscale will be presented and discussed. New approaches to nanostructuring and characterization of material properties and physical responses at the nanoscale, and their implication on new applications or innovative devices will be especially emphasized. The symposium will consist of regular and invited presentations on these topics.
