Research Focus

  • Study of propagation of electromagnetic oscillations in microstrip photonic crystals and various waveguide structures containing active media (thin magnetic films, liquid crystals, high-temperature superconductor films).
  • Development of new radio electronic devices with the electrically controllable characteristics on the basis of these structures.
  • Theoretical and experimental investigations of the high-frequency characteristics of magnetic films, liquid crystals, and other promising materials for radio electronics.
  • Scientific instrument engineering.
